Facebook Fundraiser

It’s easy to set up a Facebook fundraiser to raise money in support of the Crisis Center!

• Click Fundraisers in your News Feed menu.
  • Desktop: This will be on the left-hand side under Explore. Then, click Select Nonprofit.
  • Mobile app: Click the three lines in the upper right and scroll to find Fundraiser. Then, click Create Fundraiser or Raise Money, then click Nonprofit.
• Search for and select Crisis Center for South Suburbia.
• Your default title will be “YOUR NAME’s fundraiser for Crisis Center for South Suburbia.” 
• Choose a fundraising goal. On the desktop version you will have the option to set an end date. 
• Fill in the fundraiser details. Example:
  • I am a big supporter of the Crisis Center for South Suburbia and their work with victims of domestic violence in our community. Will you donate and help me reach my goal of raising (your $ goal)? Information about the Crisis Center is below. (Keep the second paragraph that will show up automatically).
• Click Create. That’s it!
