CCSS Auxiliary

The Crisis Center Auxiliary is committed to promoting public awareness of the issue of domestic violence and the services provided to victims by the Crisis Center for South Suburbia. In addition to increasing revenue through its fundraising events, the Auxiliary provides opportunities for men and women to share their common commitment to helping victims of domestic violence.

Since 2008, the Auxiliary has raised over $152,000 to support client needs and programs.

Two major events are held each year to raise funds: the Legends Luncheon held annually in the spring at Palos Country Club and the Walk Against Domestic Violence held annually in August at Lake Katherine Nature Preserve.

Auxiliary membership is open for an application fee of $20 and a commitment to assist with fundraising events.  Meetings are generally held quarterly.
