24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline
The Choices Program complies with the Illinois Protocol for Partner Abuse Intervention Program to assist batterers in ending abusive behavior in their intimate relationships. Court-mandated batterers or voluntary clients participate in a 26-week education and therapy group at a satellite location. During FY2014, over 200 abusers participated in the choices Program.

Staff members provide domestic violence informational presentations to community organizations and groups. In addition, professional staff members present educational and professional trainings to law enforcement agencies, medical institutions, universities, and other organizations. Over 7,000 community members participated in presentations throughout cook county southland in FY2014.
Presentations which focus on the complex issues of domestic violence are offered
at no charge to community and corporate groups. Presentations are designed to fit the needs of the organization, from profession-specific training to general domestic violence information.
