The annual CCSS Gala, held in late winter, is the Crisis Center of South Suburbia’s (CCSS) semi-formal event celebrating the success of our clients and the profound generosity of our donors, supporters and volunteers who make it all possible.
This festive evening begins with a social hour, followed by a delicious four-course dinner. Awards and recognitions are presented to supporters and donors who have contributed to sustaining the mission of CCSS in different ways. The evening also includes live music entertainment, exceptional live and silent auctions and raffles all in a beautiful setting.
Planning for the gala starts months in advance. The committee works hard to secure amazing live and silent auction items, and find sponsors from throughout the region to make the evening memorable and impactful. As the largest fundraiser of the year, there are many opportunities and levels to support this event; sponsorships, auction item donations, purchasing raffle tickets, or filling a table with friends all make a difference to those we serve.
