Volunteering is a Great Way to Help!
Volunteering for a worthy cause can be one of the most rewarding experiences of one’s life. Since Neat Repeats first opened its doors as a small storefront business in Blue Island in 1986, it has been making a difference not only in the lives of victims of domestic violence, but in the lives of hundreds of volunteers who have given of their time and talent as well. Today, with locations in Orland Park and Worth, the stores utilize the services of more than 160 volunteers – a treasure the stores couldn’t exist without. With their hard work, Neat Repeats Resale provides more than a third of the Crisis Center’s operating budget!
Volunteers are always needed at both stores – 9028 W. 159th Street in Orland Park, and 7026 W. 111th Street in Worth. Volunteers enjoy the time they spend sorting through donations, helping on the sales floor, and socializing with other volunteers.
Anyone interested in volunteering should contact the stores directly by calling Orland Park at (708) 364-7605 or Worth at (708) 361-6860. Those interested are also invited to stop by for a tour and additional information on one of the Volunteer Recruitment Days listed below!
