CCSS Auxiliary

A Day of Tea, Wine, Roses . . . and More!
Saturday, May 18th, 10:30am – 3:00pm

Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 18th and join the CCSS Auxiliary for a wonderful day at Lake Katherine Nature Preserve in Palos Heights.

This inaugural event will feature a plant sale, tea and cookie sampling, wine and snacks (after 12:00 pm), raffle, live music, and shopping with a variety of specialty vendors. The entry fee of $5 per person includes a free beverage and one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase at $2 each or three tickets for $5. There is no charge to attend the plant sale only.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Crisis Center’s emergency shelter for female victims of domestic violence and their children. All services provided by the Crisis Center are free of charge to victims.

The Crisis Center Auxiliary is committed to promoting awareness of CCSS throughout the South Suburbs by increasing its volunteer base, increasing revenue through fundraising activities, and providing opportunities for men and women to share their common interests and commitment to helping victims of domestic violence.

The Auxiliary is looking for men and women to support the mission of the Crisis Center, participate in fundraising projects and events. The membership fee is $20 annually. If you enjoy meeting new people and working for a great cause, you’ll enjoy the Crisis Center Auxiliary.
